The weather was so bad last night (as all of you from Ft. Worth to New England know)and the cat did something new last night.
She spent the night!
Her new favorite place is on the bathmat.
Being the super planner I am I think to myself I have no cat box in case she has to go.
And my super genius solution was putting down some newspaper on the kitchen floor and saying very seriously to the cat "You can go here if you need to"
And yes I got the "cat" look lol from her. (You know the one)
But she was quiet all night but at 6 A.M. she was ready to go outside!

I can see you buying a cat litter box pretty soon...and then a scratching post...and then some catnip...
Hope your weather gets better. Did you attempt to go to work? I would have called in a snow day and stayed home where it is safe and warm.

I'm gonna have to do some reading.... Being a new friend, I have assumed that the cat has been in your pictures for some time.... Clearly I am mistaken! This I do know about cats, though... If she's never shat on newspaper before, she'll find somewhere else to do her bidness, until you make it very clear to her..... (We once had a cat who was trained with clay litter, but we wanted to use cedar.... That confused the cat and he shat behind the teevee untl we figured out we had to slooooooooowly mix the new stuff in with the old stuff, so he could get used to the change.......) But it seems as though she's the outdoorsy type, so she may just always do her bidness out there.... Nothing wrong with that I say!
You are so nice to let kitty stay in. And look! you got rewarded with no poo. Good kitty. Good kitten toes!
